Best Price for Nice Robus 400
For years, I’ve been manufacturing and installing aluminium gates with Nice motors and the Robus 400 has always been the go-to choice for sliding gates in the market. Over time, I noticed something—there’s a lot of markup happening in the supply chain. Before any product arrives in New Zealand, the whole process seemed to involve a lot of ticket clippers, which made the prices higher than they could be.
Here’s how it works: the Australian agency imports the products and adds their overhead costs and profit markup. Then a NZ-based sub-agent (independent of the Australian agency) adds their overhead costs and profit markup and ships the product to NZ. Finally, the installer adds their overhead costs and profit markup, all this includes the cost of freight to and from warehouses in Australia. It all adds up, right? While we understand every business needs to cover their costs and make a profit, the size of that markup should match the value added at each stage.
Let me tell you a story. My first supplier didn’t offer much beyond selling me products. No training, no support, just a “buy and go” setup. After years of loyal buying from them, I found a second supplier. That’s when the first supplier suddenly offered a 25% discount. Even then, there was still a lot of markup along the way.
When I started importing another Italian brand (Life Home Integration), I saw just how much the Aussie-based supply chain was causing inflated prices. That’s when I decided to cut out the middlemen and go straight to the source. So I found a supplier in Italy who ships directly to us in bulk, allowing us to pass on the savings to you.
Here’s the deal: because we import directly from Italy, we’re cutting out those markups from Australian and NZ agents. This means we can offer the Robus 400 gate kits at some of the most competitive prices in New Zealand. If we’re holding stock, providing support, and covering more overheads, our prices will reflect that with slightly higher markups. Trade customers get special pricing for repeat business. Retail customers, who may only ever purchase one motor, get a more straightforward price.
Also, if stock is high, you might see some discount offers pop up from time to time to help us move stock. When stock is low, though, we stick to a set price for both trade and retail customers.
Remember: By cutting out those extra markups from the Australian and NZ agents, we’re offering a better deal for everyone.
